April 28th, on which I explain the difference between Holland and the Netherlands

Yes I know, I'm a big failure when it comes to BEDA.



It's one of my big pet peeves when people say "Holland" when they mean "the Netherlands". This is mainly because though I live in the Netherlands, I do NOT live in Holland.



The Netherlands consists of 12 provinces:

Groningen

Friesland

Drenthe

Flevoland

Overijssel (where I used to live)

Gelderland

Noord-Brabant

Limburg

Zeeland

April 22nd, on which I tell you how to make a delicious pasta sauce

No, we're not going to debate how to pronounce "pasta" (again).



I got the recipe for this pasta sauce from my sister and she got it from the internets (so it must be good).



This recipe should be enough for at least 4 people (I usually throw the sauce I'm left with in the freezer though).

April 20th, on which Karma teaches me a lesson.

Today was the start of the 4th of the academic year of the University of Utrecht. So from now on I won't have any Models & Simulation classes anymore (I quite liked the class, but I really hope I passed it so I don't have to retake it next year). And today I started a new class: probability. Now I must say I quite like probability, it's probably one of my favourite maths subjects.
