Wherein I explain

I did post the past few days - just now here, on the ning. I actually wrote blogs here.

I will explain why I was not HERE - I pre-wrote those posts on the twenty-seventh of April, just a few days before the conclusion of BEDA (you know, it's hard to emphasize words by putting them in all-capital letters when they're... already completed capitalized), because I have AP exams next week and I am FREAKING OUT. So I wanted more time to study, so… Continue

Wherein I procrastinate by writing a long history of crushes in my brain

Today I shall take you through a history of my puberty, skipping all the bits I don't see fit to tell you. So, it's mostly just a history of my crushes.

First, and foremost in my pubescent, restless mind, the conflict of my mind and a boy called Abigc. Of course, this boy is only called Abigc in very limited circles (such circles being, of course, the host of voices inside my head** and my small but notable group of friends), but that doesn't really change anything. I am in a somewhat unique (e… Continue

Wherein I discuss iSundries

Since roundabout the seventh grade I have watched more or less all of my classmates succumb to the seduction of the iPod, many of them replacing it when new versions were released for reasons I have trouble understanding (if it works, do you need to replace it?), but they did it nonetheless. I had not, until now, joined their ranks for two reasons: 1. I didn't see much of a necessity for such a product in my life and 2. They were too expensive for my meager budget regardless. However, I entered… Continue

Wherein I'm not quite sure what to talk about

I often do rather exceptionally poorly on things such as tests. This is, for various reasons, a Very Bad Thing, as entry into college (and scholarships upon entry) are often determined by scores on tests - AP exams, ACT, SAT, etc. Entry into MSTC was determined by tests (of course, one was simple logic and the other was an interest inventory*, so those weren't... that hard...). I do not agree with this. There are so many awful tests.

So... I dislike studying for AP exams, for vari… Continue

Wherein I compare myself to Rimmer

The way I see it, there are two options. Either adolescence is simply unpleasant and riddled with bumpy emotional ground or, and I think this is the more probable one, I've unwittingly fallen into a game of Better Than Life.

Since about the age of nine (when my mind fully grasped that marriage, like having children, was a choice people made instead of something required of all adults) I decided that my absolute ideal life would be eschewing all normal society and hope of a family for a life as… Continue

We can also have a slogan! The logo should have a monkey on it...

Yeah, you have said that before, but I agree it sounds extremely exciting!

Yes! A secret handshake and logo would be awesome! lol

I hope there's a day open, I think I'll find out later today, at least that's what Danica said. :)

Hey!

I think we'll always be BEDA buddies no matter what, no former involved. lol

I told Danica I was interested when she sent the message, so as long as there is still a day open I'll be joining BOAWWOPOTOD (love the name you gave it, but will never remember that. lol) :D So hopefully, I'll be participating.

Just kind of? You deserve it, BEDA buddy. lol :)

Random mumbling:
BEDA doesn't look right not capitalized and when it is, it takes the focus of the sentence. lol

Actually my teacher wasn't here. It was supposed to be a make-up since I missed 3 days last week for the state science fair... I had a make-up math test though. lol Thanks for asking. :)
